WW2 Bringback Herbert Doering who was the administrator of The Berghof aka “The Eagles Nest” Adolf Hiltlers Mountain retreat. Herbert Doering was in the SS and wrote a book after the war, '8 Years With Hitler.. Where he coined the phrase “I knew nothing and saw nothing” Hollywood TV stole it for Sargent Shultz in Hogans Heroes. Taken from the eagles nest by a member of the 82nd Airborne. Made of Italian marble missing one foot. Providence is on a stamp dated underneath. 1 of 1 rare eagles nest item.
