Riha (Die romischen Fibeln aus Augst und Kaiseraugst) type B3 with an independent spring on an axel pierced through the bow base. Bronze, 1 3/4” length. Elegant tapered bow with a flared base and transverse medial. Small transverse ridge terminal. The fibula is the original safety pin, a fashion accessory used to fasten garments.
