A magnificent Persian dagger with a wootz blade, turquoise, corals, carving, from the Qajar period, 19th century. A curved wootz blade (Khorasan pattern) with a center ridge on each side. The bone handle is inlaid with turquoise and corals, decorated with carved images of the Persian Shahs and inscriptions in Kufic script. The wooden scabbard is covered with red fabric. A beautiful, rare, collectible dagger in excellent condition. Length 36 cm.
