Large Vintage Olive Green Military Canvas Bag. This bag is marked and originally belonged to a Jack Sweetman, who was an author, coauthor, translator, editor or coeditor of ten books and many shorter pieces in the field of naval and military history. He served as a company commander in the U.S. Army and was a Ford Fellow at Emory University, where he earned his Ph.D. For many years contributing editor of Naval History magazine, he is a recipient of the Alfred Thayer Mahan Award for Literary Achievement and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
The bag is approx 28" x 1 1/4" x 36 1/2" and it weighs 3.50lbs. Folded up, the bag is approx 13 1/2" x 11" x 5 1/2". The bag has some markings and some of the stitches are coming out.
