Description
A late 19th century Austro-Hungarian garnet, mother-of-pearl and enamel brooch.
AF.
Austro-Hungarian marks.
Length 4.4cms. 17.4gms.
Condition Report:General marks, wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
At fault.
The suspension pendant chain is unattached to one side.
Three suspension hoops to the bottom of the brooch suggest three drop sections are deficient.
One garnet deficient, in need of replacement.
Enamel significantly worn.
Stones with light abrasion.
