Description
A George III mahogany bracket clock by William Elliott of London, with a silvered dial, the broken arch dial with a 'strike/silent' subsidiary dial and date aperture, the two train movement striking on a bell, the backplate with foliate engraving, the case with a brass handle and pierced grille sides, complete key and pendulum, 39cm high Condition Report: Appears to be overwound as neither barrel moves. Will require attention of a clock maker. Some losses to the veneer, most noticeably to the front left corner of the plinth and to the edges of the panels on the arch. Minor knocks and wear commensurate with age.
