The Game Diary of Malcolm Henderson, 1905-1916; together with his India and British Game Register, 1904-1923. Two volumes, original leather and boards housed in brown morocco-backed slipcases. The diary 12 3/4 x 8 inches (32.5 x 20.5 cm), the game register 8 1/8 x 13 inches (20.5 x 33 cm); the diary approximately 150 ff., illustrated with mounted photographs, maps, botanical specimens, letters, game licenses etc.; the game register with a variety of feathers of pheasants, partridges etc. laid-in. The front hinge broken on the first work, which has been rebacked at some time past; some modest wear to both the bindings, but internally generally clean. With a signed portrait of Henderson on a card mount dated 1912 laid-in.

Most of Henderson's hunting was conducted in the forests of central India, where he shot a variety of big and small game.
