An uncommon series of printed works by Robert Whitman (1935-2024) best known for his theatrical performances in the Lower East Side in the 1960s and his association with visual artists such as Allan Kaprow, Red Grooms, Jim Dine, and Claes Oldenburg. Whitman was a co-founder of Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) with engineers Billy Klüver and Fred Waldhauer and artist Robert Rauschenberg. Citrus Edition is rare and we trace no other sets besides one owned by The Whitney Museum of Art, New York; we trace no other set of Eggs, Bacon, Fish.
