The Bernstein family is renowned for their accomplishments in glass and distinctive styles; their work can be seen in the permanent collections of several museums from the Hokkaido Museum of Art in Hokkaido, Japan, to the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York. William Bernstein has also taught the art of glass making from Penland to Pilchuck.
