*Colt Commander Custom .45 ACP in box

.45 ACP. 4.25" barrel length. SN: CLW028553. Blued metal finish to slide with Colt satin nickel finished aluminum frame and mounting black rubber Pachmayr wrap-around grips. Short recoil operated single-action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single-stack magazines. Item mounts a Collet style barrel bushing interfacing with a BAR STO barrel. Sights consist of an adjustable white outline rear notch and cruciform white line front blade. The Commander style hammer has been cut down to a lightweight spur featuring custom knurling. The recoil spring plug displays the {Crown/K} logo of King's Gunworks, as does the extended safety lever. Pistol features an adjustable trigger, and a knurled plastic mainspring housing. The rear face of the slide has also been custom knurled. Standard make and model markings appear overall, including COMMANDER/MODEL COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBER .45 followed by the {Rampant Colt} logo on the left slide, and the single-line address to right frame. Comes with one COLT marked magazine. Comes in a Colt woodprint cardboard box with foam liner and safety pamphlet.

Condition
Good. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Blued metal finish shows some light scratches to the slide, and some discolorations around the edge of the rear slide surrounding knurling. Some traces of brown patina forming on the rear sight. The right ear of the rear sight insert has broken off and must be replaced. Matte frame shows some light scratches and some discolorations and residue on the triggerguard, lower frame, and in seams. Reassembly scratch to left frame. Grips retain crisp details. One end flap to the box has been torn off, and the box shows some scuffs overall.
