IWC a very rare fishtail keyless lever open face silver pocket watch, C1915 with its original box.
Dial: The perfect white enamel Roman dial with subsidiary seconds dial fully signed International Watch Company Schaffhausen.
Case: The beautiful plain silver case with English import marks for 1918. The case maker was Charles Nicolet and is numbered.
Movement: This very rare Calibre 71 movement produced by IWC from 1904 -1917. Unlike IWC?s typical movements with three-quarter plates or finger-bridges, these movements had curved bridges and cocks that were almost comical in design. These movements are called ?fishtail? because of their curved cocks, looking like fishtails. Only 600 movements were made thus making this watch extremely rare.
