4 VINTAGE GORHAM MINI CORDIAL CHALICE GOBLET SHOT CUP STERLING SILVER 955 (2 Sets)
Two (2) sets of 4 sterling silver cordial shots goblets or cups made by The Gorham Manufacturing Company, one of the largest American manufacturers of sterling.
These fabulous circa 1970's sets are in excellent condition and placed in the luxurious Gorham box with a soft amber velvet on the cover and a grass green velvet embellishing the interior.
Each goblet measures approx. 5 cm x 4 cm weighing 20 grams.
The total weight of the cups is 80.0 grams. Light surface wear to the cases.
DETAILS:
The Gorham Manufacturing was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in the year of 1831 by Jabez Gorham, a master craftsman in partnership with Henry L. Webster. The firm products were silver spoons of coin silver, combs, jewelry, thimbles, and later larger sterling and silver-plate. Each goblet is marked on the base with the old Gorham trademark logo stamp as ''Sterling 955'' which proves the age of the set to circa 1863 to 1890.
