Description
Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A lovely ensemble of 4 pottery figures from Colima culture, all shown standing with arms to their bare chests while wearing loincloths, necklaces, earrings, and thick headbands. Size of largest (lattice headband): 0.8" L x 2.6" W x 5.9" H (2 cm x 6.6 cm x 15 cm); 8.3" H (21.1 cm) on included custom stand.

Provenance: private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, USA, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000

Second-most petite is missing one earring. Most petite has professional repair to arm with break line and adhesive visible; other 3 have been professionally repaired and restored but done very well and difficult to notice. Otherwise, all have nice presentations with good detail and mineral deposits. Each accompanied by custom display stand.
