Dimensions: H x W x D: 22 x 18 x 13.5 cm
Description:
Atmos V calibre 526 in the special "Feuille d'or" version. This model with the motif "Constellation" was built under the ref. number 5802 from 1962-1975. Despite the rather long production time frame of 12 years, the watch appears relatively rarely in the trade.
Feuille d'or translates from French as "gold leaf". The sides, the door and the glass on the top plate of the clock are lacquered from the inside. The golden lacquer finish looks amazingly similar to gold leaf.
The white full dial has a compass rose in the pivot point of the hands. The entire motif of the clock is dedicated to science and the exploration of the globe of the earth and sky.
Lines of longitude and latitude run across all the clocks viewing surfaces. On the two sides are old world maps. In the corners of the front door we see explorers studying and measuring the celestial globe.
