Today their designs, particularly the stylish use of plastic casing, continue to be very popular among radio collectors. This is one of those highly sought after radios. This model was made from 1952-1955 and was available in brown, ivory, or green. This radio was made prior to FM radio becoming popular so is only AM. The green molded plastic body has such classical style for the times. The three knobs on the front are On-Off-Volume, Tone, and Tuning. This radio works when plugged in and can tune in stations. This small table top model came before the popular portable models. Given the fact this radio was only produced for 3 years makes this radio a rare find. The radio shows great condition overall with some light wear due to age. The table top radio measures 13 1/2" wide by 6 3/4" tall and 6 1/4" deep. The collective weight of this radio is 6lb 14oz*.
