Featured in this lot is a U.S. Forest Service Smokey Prevent Wildfire sign, circa 1970s. The sign features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wooden composite construction. The frame for the sign is painted brown with chicken wire holding the sign in place. The sign itself shows a yellow field with a brown Smokey the bear and reads as follows: Smokey - Help Prevent Wildfires. The condition of this U.S. Forest Service sign is well preserved with some wear to the paint and to the wood frames but otherwise shows well preserved condition. The measurements of this framed sign are 18 1/4" x 46 5/8" x 4".*
