Biography Cecilia received her training with teachers Marta Grompone, Edgardo Ribeiro, Jos? Collell and Duncan Quintela. She devoted herself to design, photography, painting, ceramics, and loom weaving at the Hornsey College of Arts and Crafts. The ship of life was his most outstanding work, due to its great dimension, in which it represents one hundred and four characters about the vices and virtues of the human condition, for which he obtained the Figaro Prize in 1999. It is one of the pioneers of textile art in Uruguay. She represented Uruguay with more than two hundred exhibitions in many countries. She participated in the Biennial XI of San Pablo (1971) and in the Bienal del Tapiz de Lana (1978). She was invited by Stefano Poda to make accessories for the costumes of his shows. He participated in several stagings by that Master among them: Stabat Mater by Pergolesi (2001), Madama Butterfly by Puccini (2002), La Divina Comedia in 2005, Antigua, Guatemala, "Requiem" by Faure? for the Jos?
