Cross 150th Anniversary sterling silver LE fountain pen with box and outer cardboard box. This pen was a tribute to A.T. Cross’ original fountain pen that used the LeBoeuf filling system (Cross also made pencils for LeBoeuf at the time). This limited edition pen was made in a run of 2100 examples, this being an early example (275/2100). It has a herringbone style chased pattern with black enamel bands on the cap and barrel. The set comes with its original decorative box with inkwell, plate and bottle of ink. It has a medium 18K 750 Cross nib and has not been inked. Length 5 1/4” and 6 1/4” posted, filling mechanism is cartridge/converter. Overall near mint, unlinked with minor tar night to pen and some wear to the outer cardboard box.
