Waterman Patrician Nacre fountain pen. The Patrician was Waterman’s first foray into celluloid pens, the last of the “big four” (Waterman, Wahl Eversharp, Sheaffer and Parker) to make the jump from hard rubber or vulcanite to celluloid. These pens are known for their bright colours and Art Deco elements. This example has good trim and colour showing some darkening, clip is slightly loose with discolouration to the hard rubber ends, section and wear to disk on butt end of barrel. Waterman Patrician fine flexible 14K USA nib. Length 5 7/16” and 6 7/8” posted, filing mechanism is lever fill. Overall fair condition with one small spot of crazing to cap, pen was water tested and filled at time of listing.
