Item Details
Description
A Scottish Victorian silver mounted hardstone vinaigrette, of prismatic form, with varicoloured jasper, banded agate and bloodstone panels. The hinged cover with a rock crystal boss set to a scrolling engraved frame. The interior featuring a hinged silver gilt ornate grill. 70.84g 34mm x 52mm Provenance: Maurice 'Dick' Turpin, Barons Keep, London W14. Condition Report: The base of the rock crystal dome is deteriorating. The hinged cover is a little stiff. Hardstone panels all present, with wear to the edges commensurate with age.
