Originally was a hand colored photograph taken in 1918 by a Swedish man named Eric Enstrom (1875 - 1968). This work is an homage to him and is after Enstrom. Depicts an elderly man with head bowed, praying with folded hands, in a mealtime prayer of thanksgiving, thankful that even though they had to do without many things because of the war, they still had so much to be thankful for. Signed lower right corner. Art presented in an ornate dull gold painted raised relief scroll decorated rectangular wooden frame.
