Description
This is an actual box office poster for the venue. During the 1970s and early 1980s The famous Capitol Theatre in Passaic New Jersey became a popular venue for a whole laundry list of major rock artists. Promoter John Scher worked diligently to bring a steady flow of talent to the 3,200-seat theater. The venue was also known for its in-house video system which resulted in many good-quality black-and-white videos years later. It closed its doors and was demolished in 1991 but has remained one of the most legendary venues in rock music history.
