This vintage English late 19th century elegant sterling silver fish server is designed for formal dining. The handle features a stylized shell motif & has a trim of linear curves.Attached to the handle the flat "basin" contains a reticulated feather motif in its center & is accented with a decorative edging. Etching on the handle reveals a "crowned" seated lion holding a sword & a flour de les seated upon a plumed crown.
