Description
An early Medieval Islamic glass bottle of the type used for sprinkling rosewater on the hands of guests at religious ceremonies and gatherings. The body of the bottle is of an apple shape and is highly decorated with raised geometric shapes. The neck of the bottle emanates upward from the body in a long, slender, tapering cone, surmounted by a wider flared funnel. The top and bottom of the neck are encircled by folded ribbon like decorations of applied glass.
