EARLY 20th C. ROMANIAN OFFICER SWORD by EICKHORN
WWI Imperial Romanian Eagle Head Officer Sword. Single edged, slightly curved, bright blade. Triple acid etched with Romanian Coat of arms, Royal monogram of King Carol I and foliate patterns. Maker marked by Carl Eickhorn on the spine. Felt buffer pad present. Decorated brass hilt with "D" guard. Twisted wire wrapped composite grips with ruby-eyed eagle head pommel. Black steel scabbard.
