Fine and very rare Victorian attributed to Stevens & Williams cameo Cut back to Mother of Pearl glass large 8" tall potpourri jar. This is an exceptional and museum-worthy piece of art glass. The base glass is Flower and Acorn pattern citron colored mother of pearl. This overlaid with a bittersweet glossy outer layer that is cut back to the citron. It is also heavily enhanced with gilt work around each flower. Exampleis pictured in Ray & Lee Grover's English Cameo Glass book.
