Peinture OD d origine a 70% avec quelques taches de camouflage vert fonce, realisees au pinceau, typique de l un des regiments de la 2eme DI. Insigne de la 2eme DI US frontal a 70%. Fissure de choc a l impact au niveau de l insigne. Impact penetrant a l arriere superieur de la bombe. Nombreuses bosses sur la coque. Liner en materiaux composite haute pression, fabrication "Seaman" ou "Singer". Coiffe en toile complete avec sa nuquiere. Le Sweat band est absent tout comme la jugulaire en cuir. Coiffe disposant d un marquage nominatif AR manuscrit. Les washer sont en acier peint en vert. Impact penetrant a l arriere superieur du liner. Peinture kaki vernie a 85%. Insigne de la 2eme DI US frontal a 85%. Le numero matricule present sur la jugulaire correspond au Private first class "Wesley Roberts", ne le 2 fevrier 1922, decede le 29 janvier 2006. Il a ete declare "MIA" (disparu) au Luxembourg depuis le 20 decembre 1944, mais il a ete capture dans les Ardennes fin decembre 1944 et il a passe 4 mois dans un camp de prisonnier allemand, libere par les allies en avril 1945. Sweat band and leather chinstrap are missing. The cap has a handwritten AR name marking. The washer is in green painted steel. Penetrating impact to the upper rear of the liner. 85% khaki varnish. 2nd US ID insignia, 85% frontal. The service number on the chinstrap corresponds to Private first class ‘Wesley Roberts’, born 2 February 1922, died 29 January 2006. He had been declared ‘MIA’ (missing) in Luxembourg since 20 December 1944, but was captured in the Ardennes at the end of December 1944 and spent 4 months in a German prison camp, liberated by the Allies in April 1945.
