Condition
Inspected under UV light, 10x loupe, and acetone tested; nothing was revealed. Intact as preserved with one stopper now lost; the rare and remaining stopper has a possible old break at the bottom which fluoresces under UV light. Overall surface wear with minor losses to red pigment, as is typical with age. Superficial pitting and chipping to the extremities and rims. The pigment depicts birds and wavy lines (water) around the circumference of both jars. Both lug handles are pierced. Secured to a modern wood base with a metal bar, not permanently affixed. Overall in very attractive and stable condition.
