This beautiful and rare chronograph from the little house of Esca dates from the mid 1940's. Esca was founded in the early 1920s by the Kocher family. This example has a unique system on three buttons. The center button stops the chronograph while the top and bottom buttons start and reset the watch. It is fitted with an usual dial and original blued steel sword hands. Esca is mostly remembered for their production of high grade $20 gold coin watches which were done as both wrist and pocket styles.
