Pair of Italian Venetian parcel gilt wooden polychrome torchieres, 20th century, each oversized floor candlestick having a fluted stem with acanthus detail, and rising on a stepped circular base, apparently unmarked.

Approximate dimensions: h. 76.75", dia. 15.5"

Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA.

Condition

Wax accretions, some stable cracks, pleasing distressed finish, both are structurally sound.
