Group of four Victorian era English or French tabletop needlework fire pole screens, late 19th to early 20th century, comprising a pair of black ground screens with gilt brass stand and a pair of red ground screens with brass bases, both apparently unmarked.

Approximate dimensions: black screen h. 21.5", w. 9.5", d. 3.75"; red screen h. 18.5", w. 9.5", d. 3.75".

Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA.

Both with wear to fabric including fading, loose threads, and detached elements, the black with degraded back panel and untied cording, the bases with loss of gilding and/or dents.
