Carousel 'jumping horse' style, small size or scale hand carved, late 19th-early 20th century, with orange glass eyes and real hair mane and tail with leather ears and painted in grey and black, seat / saddle is covered in woven cloth with a woven design surrounded by red fringe with tassel's, which is tacked down with decorative flower shaped stays on the hunches and plain nails all around with a red mounting block on the belly and accompanied by a finely woven rope with a large decorative tassel, apparently unmarked.

Condition
Leather two part stitched ears are apart and there is wear to the in-weaving on the saddle cloth with some splitting on the base cloth near back of sitting area. A separation gap where the body and the head connection occurs with the head remaining solidly attached and has age weathering bumps and bruises with lines showing at the part connections.
