Item Details

Description

Pair of American or English cast iron railroad signal finials or markers, circa 1900, each of obelisk form, on a square base, marked 'RSCO' to one, 'RSC' to one, and both 'FCCA', and '531'.

Approximate dimensions: h. 28.5", sq. 7.75".

Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA.

Condition

Casting imperfections with some losses to edges, one base with a lower edge not cast and accretions, pleasing patina with oxidation.
