Description
Comprising a celadon jade-inset bronze rectangular box and cover, 3.3/4 in. (9.2 cm.) long, 3.3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) wide, 1.7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) high; a jadeite bangle, with inner diameter approximately 2.3/8 in. (6 cm.), width approximately 3.1/8 in. (7.9 cm.), thickness approximately 3/8 in. (1 cm.); a jadeite pandant necklace, 19.7/8 in. (49.9 cm.) long with the necklace, the pendant measures 1.3/4 in. (4.5 cm.) diam.; a white and beige jade twin-fish-form pendant, 1.7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) long, 1.9/16 in. (4 cm.) wide; a pale green stone pendant, 2.3/8 in. (6 cm.) long, 1.5/8 in. (4.2 cm.) wide; a russet jade pendant, 2 in. (5.1 cm.), 1.1/8 in. (2.8 cm.) wide; a jadeite-inset, turquoise, and gem hairclip, 2.3/4 in. (7 cm.) long, 1.3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) wide; a soapstone seal surmounted by a finial in the form of a recumbent mythical beast, with uncarved seal faces, 2.3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, 1.1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) wide; and a 1927 memento birth of Republic of China silver dollar, The obverse features two Chinese characters 'Yi Yuan (one dollar)' in the center surrounded by herbs and the inscriptions "MEMENTO" and "BIRTH OF REPUBLIC OF CHINA."; the reverse displays a portrait of Sun Yat-Sen, the founder of ROC, 1.1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) diam.
Condition
Box and cover: The cover was broken and later re-glued to a piece of glass, expected wear and tear to the box and cover; expeted wear and tear to other jadeite/stone ornaments; few incised marks to the bottom of the seal; a mark of scratch to the reverse side of the silver coin.
