The jardiniere features an ogival cartouche that encloses a lotus spray set against a backdrop of fretwork, highlighted in turquoise and sapphire-blue enamels on a gilt punched surface. It is 'planted' with a prunus tree, whose twisted branches are adorned with prunus blossoms and buds, the petals crafted from pink hardstones. 21.5 in. high, 18 in.; the jardini?re measure 3.75 in. high, and 6 in. wide.
