Pair of Leather & Metal Barcelona Chair Frames, Mies van der Rohe. Grey painted versions of the classic. Constructed with unusual sized bar steel- 2"x 3/8", as opposed to the more common measurements of 1 1/8" x 1/2". All joints welded. Note that the X joints are not rounded, and the edges of the bar steel are all softened. The metal frame holds leather straps which would be hidden by cushions on the angled seat. No maker's mark, we believe these are early designs by Mies van der Rohe for Knoll.

Dimensions are 29.5 in h x 29.5 in w x 31 in d. Seat height is about 12.5 in h. Condition is good and sold as is, no cushions, some fading and wear to straps, minor paint crazing and scuffing to frames, some discoloration throughout. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
