Alexander Zadorin, Russian, Soviet era, 1941 to 2006, oil painting on canvas, Basket with Onions, 1997. Signed and dated, upper right. Additionally signed with a monogram, inscribed, titled, and dated, on the backside. Alexander Zadorin was born in 1941 in Kemerovo. He decided to get a professional education in the Mukhinsky School the Art and Industry Academy named after Stieglitz, where he studied at the Department of Ceramics and Glass. In 1973 he became a member of the Union of Artists, and in 1998 he was awarded the title Honored Artist of Russia. Paintings and graphic works Zadorin different freedom. A special place in the artist's work is occupied by love, ancient myths and biblical stories interpreted by the author. Zadorins works are exhibited in the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Hermitage Museum, the Moscow Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art, the Hungarian Museum of International Ceramics, the Museum of Decorative Art in Pisa and other halls.
