Item Details
Description
14" long Ortega working/show rawhide braided 1/2" wide bosal, with 16-strand natural cheeks and 32-strand wider tapered noseband and heel knot designed with zig-zag red interweaves. The bosal is affixed to a braided leather hanger at the top and an artfully designed, braided all-natural multicolored long horsehair rope at the heel knot. Excellent condition, circa 1960s. Provenance: Ex George Pitman Collection, Rancho Santa Fe, CA
