the Victorian table or mantel clock with ebonised, gilt brass mounted architectural case, with four fruiting finials and Corinthian columns to the front, the sides with ornate Renaissance style pierced fretwork, on a plinth base, the break-arch dial with gilt matted centre and silvered name plate inscribed 'Butcher & Webb Ltd Smithy Row Nottingham', with silvered Roman chapter ring and three subsidiary dials to the arch, Chime / Silent Slow / Fast and Chime on Eight Bells / Westminster, the substantial triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, chiming on a rack of bells and striking the hours on a coiled steel gong, with pendulum,
