This is a beautiful, large 21" Antique Simon and Halbig/Kammer Reinhardt Baby doll.
The doll is made in Germany.
She has a bisque head and composition body.
She has a beautiful face with very dark, open and close eyes .
She has a gorgeous open mouth with front teeth showing and delicately brushed upper and lower eyelashes and eyebrows.
There is no visible cracks or damage on the bisque head.
On her back of the neck is marked, "K R around a star - Simon & Halbig - Germany - 126 "
The composition body is in good condition.
The wig is in good condition. It looks newer. It doesn't stay very well on her head.
I will not try to glue the head, I will fill the head with paper for transportation.
One of her leg looks a little shorter.
I think it is Simon and Halbig molds, I have two more dolls from the same maker and both have one leg just a bit shorter
She wears a white under dress and white dress
The dress is quite beautiful. It has cotton lace and it is 28" (70 cm) long. It is spectacular.
There could be some small rips and stains, consistent with the age of the old antique and vintage clothes.
The doll is in overall good condition. There are some very minimal scratches on the body.
Her right eye is a little of the center - please see the pictures.
Simply gorgeous!
It will be a great gift to someone special or beautiful addition to any antique dolls collection!
