This group includes 1 standard-issue Japanese helmet in mustard greenish brown paint with a metal star on the front. Brown leather 3-pad 6-tongue liner. No chinstrap. / 1 Aluminum canteen in mustard greenish brown paint with Japanese characters on the front. Canteen is complete with its cotton canvas sling and leather stopper retention strap. / 1 Japanese Army belt in brown leather with two Japanese cartridge boxes attached. / 1 Hinomaru-style prayer flag, likely from the Kiyokawa Shrine for a soldier named Keiichro Funeoka. The flag includes the proverb “Even to the 7th life through eternity for the country.” / 1 Black wooden billy club in a cotton canvas frog. / 1 Large section of plaid wool cloth. / 1 Field jacket with two gold stars on each red collar tab. The interior of the jacket has several Japanese characters stamped into the lining. CONDITION: helmet and canteen show light to moderate wear. Coat shows light wear. Flag shows moderate wear.
