This rifle sports a period correct (WWII era) M82 Sniper Scope which was commonly used on the M1C Garand Sniper Rifles. This rifle also comes with a green canvas carry case marked "U.S." (no maker or date markings found). MARKINGS: "SAGINAW S.G./ 5844350" on the rear receiver, "SAGINAW S.G./ GENERAL MOTORS" on the top of the barrel, "P" proofed on top of the barrel, "U" on the magazine and "U.S. CARBINE/ CAL. 30 M1" on the front receiver. SPECS: 18" Barrel, front band sight with ears and period correct green canvas sling marked "RAU FASTINING CO./ PROVIDENCE, RI" on the snap. CONDITION: This gun is in nice condition with light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order.
