Covers the Prehistoric horse, mustang, two chapters on hunting grizzly and bighorn sheep, then hunting men and wild horses, the cowboy, Navaho pony, Indian pony, and the role of the Mustang in the winning of the west, the horse in Custer's fight, author's and publisher's notes. Copy signed " W.R.Leigh" and dedicated to " E.T.L." ETL being the initial of Mrs Ethel Traphagen Leigh, his wife a fellow artist, author, designer, and founder of the Traphagen School of Fashion in New York City.Condition: Well-preserved and protected ex-libris copy from the Ethel Traphagen Leigh Memorial Library. Edge and shelf wear to the red fabric cover are noted, as well as neatly marked numerals and library use marks on the title page.
