Oblong format perpetual calendar with art nouveau chromolithographic cover, stapled at the top, and fitted with a silk hanging cord; for each day of the year a quote meant to inspire women in their fight for the right to vote has been selected from an important author, leader or thinker; slight discoloration to front cover, rust stains from the stapled binding and an old paperclip, with publisher's advertisements at the end mentioning this calendar, among others, and noting that it was originally sold boxed, with silk tassel and cord, for fifty cents; 11 x 5 1/2 in.
