Bright colors, a few soft handling creases at right edge, an occasional spot of pale surface soiling in the gold at lower right, a few minuscule scratches in his hat at right, one speck of foxing in white below nose, tiny pressure marks presumably from diamond dust, rubbing at bottom edge; two abrasions at top, pencil notations and stray printer's ink verso.
