One of two manufactured by McDuff.A letter accompanying the device explains its creation and purpose: “Algonquin McDuff decided that the world of magic needed a little stirring up. Dr. Albo was obsessed with Okito and was busy writing his series. McDuff made two fake Okito Money makers … On August 23 [2001] Bob Albo [asked me if I would sell the Okito Money Maker.” Included with the prop are Albo’s letters requesting to purchase the imitation Okito prop (which was eventually featured in Volume XI of his Classic Magic series) and subsequent correspondence regarding its history.
