Vintage Sterling Taxco, Mexico Abaone Ring, Sz. 5.25, 1960's. This is marked Taxco Mexico and has initial in the center that could be HAM or MAM. There is also another stamped mark that I cannot determine what it is. Weight of the ring is appx. 5.05 gr. It is1.25" down the finger and 7/8" across. Bezel-set oval abalone with lots of color that is appx. 18mm by 13mm. that sits raised up from a scrolled and beaded (raindrop) accented frame. Split V band at top shoulders that is appx. 6.5mm by 3mm at the back of the finger. Age is estimated at 1960's or shortly thereafter. Very good condition other than oxidation that can be polished away. (BL71321.1X1 SS6823 J LD 3/19/22).
