Shelton sisters basket, Forsyth County, North Carolina.

H 6-1/2" D 6-1/8".

Mary Shelton (1837-1921) and Eliza Shelton (1845-1933) were well known basket makers from Forsyth Co., NC. Both were recorded in the 1910 U.S. census as basket makers by trade.

Condition: No damage noted.
