Tapering cylindrical, centering a portrait of Alexander Pushkin on a laurel-trimmed lyre, with banners inscribed in Russian 26 May and A.S. Pushkin, above the dates 1799-1899, commemorating the centenary of the poet's birth, amid scenes from his works, Ruslan and Ludmila, Boris Godunov and Poltava, signed V. Ovsyannikov. Height 3 7/8 inches (9.8 cm).
