A George III oak bacon settle, 18th century, of concave form, with a moulded cornice, over two panelled cupboards enclosing three shelves, over two open compartments, once with doors, 153cm wide 62cm deep 162cm high Provenance: Wolterton Hall, Norfolk. Condition Report: Wear throughout. Additions to the central vertical rail. Old repairs. Stained and loss of colour. Left door lacking lock, the other with plate inside. Moulding with losses. Lacking doors below the seat. One panel loose to the base. Missing roundels to the arms and some losses to the arms.
